Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: April 2026
Welcome to The Community Card website. These Terms & Conditions govern the participation of local businesses in The Community Card program and your use of our website and services. By accessing and using this website and/or participating in The Community Card program, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
Website Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on The Community Card website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the website
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
- Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server
Distribution & Volume Guarantee (The 10,000 Household Clause)
The Community Card guarantees a minimum distribution of 10,000 households via Royal Mail for each program run. Due to Royal Mail sector boundaries and administrative requirements, final distribution counts may exceed this guaranteed minimum. Any additional household reach beyond 10,000 is provided as a value-added bonus at no additional cost.
Royal Mail's official Certificate of Posting serves as the definitive proof of service completion and distribution volume.
Industry Exclusivity & No Competitor Guarantee
The Community Card implements a strict "No Competitor Guarantee." Once a slot is secured for a specific industry type (e.g., Estate Agent, Plumber, Dentist), no direct competitors within that industry type will be featured on that specific card drop. This exclusivity applies to the duration of that specific distribution run and protects your competitive positioning within the card's targeted area.
Charity Participation
The Community Card is proud to donate space on the back of every card to a local registered charity for community support. This charitable initiative is part of our commitment to supporting the local community alongside our business participants.
